Creation of the identity system and print and digital deliverables for Multiple Fairs, the 2025 edition of Multiple Formats in collaboration with the Boston Center for the Arts. As New England’s largest art book fair and a major forum for independent publishing, the fair brings together over 150 exhibitors through lectures, symposiums, workshops, and a public marketplace. The new identity introduces a modular, paper-cut–inspired shape system and an expanded palette building on the signature blue, white, and black.

From South African identity systems to menstrual product dispensers, the essays trace how context shapes communication. This reader uses the recurring motif of shifting parentheses to quietly disrupt and re-frame the reader’s perspective, mirroring the content’s critical stance.

Narrator

A high-contrast, expanded serif typeface designer for display use. Narrator is a modern revival of Leonard H.D. Smit’s typeface, Promotor (1960). Based on original specimens and archival materials, the revival expands the character set, refines proportions, and introduces contemporary details that bring clarity and energy to its expressive forms.

My BFA capstone thesis Mind the Form explores disappearing media through print experiments, foldable posters, and wearable works. This is a Poster / This is a T-Shirt shifts between book, poster, and garment, inviting customization and transformation through touch, time, and use.

Terraforming

An experimental typeface built from smooth, oval forms that fuses the pixel logic of early digital type with the tactile warmth of printed ink. The typeface has a mind of its own: as you type, unexpected flourishes emerge, asserting its personality and blurring the boundaries between tool and author.
