NARRATOR

[1]

Typeface Revival, 2025.

Narrator is a high-contrast, expanded serif typeface suited for display text. Narrator is a modern revival of Leonard H.D. Smit’s typeface, Promotor (1960), using primary research conducted at the Letterform Archive. Drawing from original specimens and archival materials, I expanded the typeface’s character set, refined its proportions, and introduced modern details that bring new clarity and energy to its expressive forms.
