Narrator

[1]

Typeface Revival, 2025.

Narrator is a high-contrast, expanded serif typeface suited for display text. Narrator is a modern revival of Leonard H.D. Smit’s typeface, Promotor (1960), using primary research conducted at the Letterform Archive. Drawing from original specimens and archival materials, I expanded the typeface’s character set, refined its proportions, and introduced modern details that bring new clarity and energy to its expressive forms.

Terraforming

[2]

Typeface Design, 2025.

An experimental typeface inspired by the letterforms of Computer Modern. Built from smooth, oval shapes, it fuses the pixel logic of early digital type with the tactile warmth of printed ink. This typeface has a mind of its own. As you type, unexpected flourishes emerge—asserting its personality and blurring the boundaries between tool and author.
